CM Majhi told ANI, “BJP’s programme of membership drive is ongoing. As part of that, while coming to Dadhapatna, I participated in the membership drive at a booth and administered membership to those who had come…I also had lunch at the residence of a tribal family… Last time we inducted 41 lakh people (in the state) under a membership drive and formed a successful organisation. “Under the membership drive, I will visit door to door and try to connect around 1 crore people in Odisha,” he said.
CM Majhi also said that Subhadra Yojana is a flagship scheme which will benefit and empower more than one crore eligible beneficiaries in Odisha.
Ealier in the day, he and state minister Sampad Chandra Swain had lunch at the residence of a tribal family at Barang in Cuttack today.
