MP: Man on two-wheeler hit by private bus in Indore, dies – World News Network

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 8 (ANI): A 62-year-old man died after a private bus crushed him in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district, a police official said.
The incident occurred in Teen Imli area under the jurisdiction Azad Nagar police station limits in the district on Monday morning. The person who died was identified as Ram Prasad Maurya (62), a resident of Pawanpuri colony, Nemawar road, Indore.
“The driver of a private bus was continuously moving the bus in the back and forth direction and during this, a man identified as Ram Prasad Maurya going on a two-wheeler was crushed in which he died. The accident occurred in the Teen Imli area under Azad Nagar police station on Monday morning,” said Rajesh Dandotiya, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP).

A CCTV video of the incident has also surfaced and a case has been registered under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and investigation into the matter is underway, he said.
Soon after the incident, the driver of the bus ran away from the spot. The police confiscated the bus and efforts were on to nab the bus driver, he added. (ANI)
