IMD also predicted light to moderate rainfall at some places along the western coast in Konkan, Goa, Karnataka, and Kerala, as well as in the northern part of the country, including Jammu & Kashmir, west Uttarakhand, sub-Himalayan and in West Bengal, West Assam, East Telangana, and north coastal Andhra Pradesh, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms and lightning in the next three hours.
In the last 24 hours, the Central Region of Mumbai recorded an average rainfall of 83 mm, followed by the Eastern Suburbs at 45 mm and then the Western Suburbs at 39 mm. Mumbai’s Colaba area received the most rainfall at 51.8 mm, followed by Santacruz at 27 mm.
