BJP leaders slam AAP, Arvind Kejriwal over mismanagement in Delhi – World News Network

New Delhi [India], October 6 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party leaders came down heavily at Aam Aadmi Party and the party’s national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, on Sunday, alleging looting and cheating the people of Delhi.
Addressing a rally in the Burari area of Delhi, BJP leader Vijender Gupta, Praveen Khandelwal and Bansuri Swaraj lashed out at Arvind Kejriwal and AAP, accusing them of doing ‘ghotala’ and worsening the condition of Delhi.
“It is AAP and Arvind Kejriwal who have looted Delhi. They talk about Moholla clinics and world-class health models but during the time of COVID, when these clinics were required, they were shut down. The person working there gives the wrong medicine without any knowledge,” said BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj.
She said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Jan Aushuadi Kendra provides medicines at a discounted price. She also stated that it was saddening that the AAP government had kept the people of Delhi deprived of their needs.
“PM Modi has opened Jan Aushadi Kendra, where medicine is provided at discounted rates. Our government has also brought Ayushman Bharat now. It is saddening that AAP has kept Delhi’s public deprived of their needs,” Swaraj said.
“You should also have a look at the electricity bills. Tell me one thing: when a person works for a company, his pension is the company’s responsibility; then why is this government taking this money from you? There is no single department where no ‘ghotala’ has been done,” Swaraj added.
BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal also took a dig at Arvind Kejriwal and said that the AAP leader now realised who his real competition was and who could bring his real face to the fore.
He further expressed his gratitude towards PM Modi for running more than 180 government schemes that too for every single community in the country.
He stated that the Lieutenant Governor’s decision allowing the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to allow DISCOMs to provide new electricity connections to development areas of 105 urbanised villages and colonies regularised by MCD as well as allowing land mutation was a big one.
“Now Arvind Kejriwal has understood that there are people who can give him competition and bring his real face to the fore. We thank PM Modi because there is no single community where no Yojana has been started. At the moment, more than 180 Yojanas are running in the country but some state governments do not want them to run… This decision related to electricity and mutation is a big one. Whenever we all visit different colonies, electricity is the biggest problem. There are even colonies where the Kejriwal government could not build any toilets,” he said.
“Today they have organised Janta Ki Adalat. The question is that people who have given for the Adalat will raise questions and grievances against whom? In the last ten years, the condition of Delhi has worsened. Now when elections are approaching, they have organised this to deviate the mind of the public,” Khandelwal added.
BJP leader Vijender Gupta also slammed the AAP and said that the party was a ‘dhokha dhadi’ party and that the party was formed by thieves.
“Don’t call them AAP, they are dhokha dhadi party. All the thieves have gathered together and made a party. I challenge Arvind Kejriwal that if I am wrong, come in front of me and answer,” he said.
The rally was organised for the Delhi BJP to express their gratitude to PM Modi for announcing several schemes for the people of Delhi. BJP Delhi President Virender Sachdeva and other BJP leaders were also present at the event. (ANI)
