New Delhi [India], September 24 (ANI): Karnataka Minister KH Muniyappa met with Union Minister of State for MSME and Labour, Shobha Karandlaje, in the national capital on Tuesday, requesting the sanction of a “Multi Skill Development Project” for his constituency, Devanahalli Taluk, in Bengaluru Rural District.
In a letter, the Karnataka Minister highlighted that Devanahalli Taluk, part of the Bengaluru Rural District, has 45,000 MSME units registered under the Udyam Portal, with the potential to employ around four lakh individuals.
“Bengaluru Rural District has both skilled and unskilled youth who could be employed in these sectors through demand-based skill training. This would help meet the human resource needs of the industries. In this regard, we request the sanction of an industry demand-based NSIC Technical Service Centre/Multi Skill Development Centre for Devanahalli Taluk in Bengaluru Rural District,” he added.
He further informed that the required land and infrastructure, including roads, electricity, and water supply, will be provided.
“We are pleased to inform you that the necessary land and infrastructure, such as roads, electricity, and water supply, will be made available. I would be grateful if you could sanction the project for the Multi Skill Development Centre in Devanahalli Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District, at the earliest,” he stated. (ANI)
