Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], August 24 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav addressed a general body meeting of CRISP (Center for Research and Industrial Staff Performance) at Samatva Bhawan at CM House in Bhopal on Saturday.
He emphasised that CRISP should “design and implement versatile training programmes” as per the requirements of new industrial units in the state so that the training programmes are employment-oriented.
“CRISP should design and implement versatile training programmes tailored to the needs of new industrial units being established in the state. These programmes should be focused on employment opportunities and should also benefit students from engineering colleges and ITIs. CRISP should become the premier organisation for supplying skilled human resources to industries,” CM Yadav said.
He stated that CRISP should focus on providing training in specific, carefully selected fields. He also stressed the need to design courses that cater to the youth and acknowledged CRISP’s significant role in improving the efficiency of staff in central and state government departments.
The CM further encouraged CRISP to conduct employment-oriented training programmes that benefit the state. He also highlighted the growing demand for training in areas such as pharmaceuticals and mobile repair, urging CRISP to address these requirements.
Additionally, he emphasised the need for a large-scale, time-bound training programme.
During the meeting, Secretary of Technical Education M Raghuraj presented details, noting that this autonomous institute was established in 1997 under the Department of Technical Education, Skill Development, and Employment of the Madhya Pradesh Government with support from the Government of India and the German Government.
The institute operates in various areas, including training, skill development, consultancy, training-cum-production centres, ICT/software development, and e-governance.
In addition to training, the institute has provided support in establishing and operating Shramodaya Adarsh ITI in Bhopal for government officers and employees. Youth have also been trained under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, and training programmes have been conducted for major industrial institutions across the country. (ANI)
